Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
At CubeUnstuck, our goal is to help you solve your cube, not harvest your personal data. This policy explains what simple data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.
2. What We Collect & Why
Website Analytics
We use Cloudflare for basic, anonymous website traffic metrics and security (like blocking bad bots). If you give us permission via our cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics to see how people use our site (e.g., what buttons get clicked, how far people scroll). We use this to make the website easier to use.
App & Cube Scanning Data (AI Training)
When you use our app to scan a cube, we need to know what your cube looks like to give you the solution. To make our color-detection AI smarter, we collect anonymous scan data, including:
- The colors detected on your cube and any corrections you had to make.
- Basic hardware info (like your device type or graphics processor) to ensure the 3D graphics run smoothly.
- General usage stats (like how long it took to solve, or if you clicked "Share").
- An anonymous, randomly generated device ID and your general region (Country).
Important: We DO NOT save photos or video feeds from your camera to our servers. We only save the extracted color text data and math values.
3. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your data. Period. We only share data with the secure service providers that make our app work:
- Google Analytics (if you consent) to understand website traffic.
- Cloudflare to host the website securely.
4. Your Choices
You can manage your analytics and AI training preferences at any time by clicking the "Manage Preferences" button in our cookie banner.
